Who is Millennium Ten?

We're a group of citizens, neighbors and stakeholders working together to transform Codman Square and Four Corners into a neighborhood of promise.

About Us

The Millennium Ten Initiative is a part of the Resilient Communities/Resilient Families Initiative of Boston LISC. Resilient Communities/Resilient Families is a community organizing process that connects residents and other leaders to define the future of their neighborhood.

This resident-led process, powered by local nonprofits with strong neighborhood connections, leads to a community contract that identifies strengths and challenges and solutions for our community. The process focuses on building relationships between neighbors that know, talk and care for one another.

Millennium Ten brings together long-standing community partners, organizations, new leaders and residents to work together towards the future of Codman Square and Four Corners. It is convened by the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation and supported by many other agencies and organizations.

Our Process

Engagement

We host resident forums, interview residents one-on-one to find out what they want for their neighborhood.

Strategizing

Common priorities and goals become the topics for working groups, we we create community contracts.

Implementation

Working groups and the coalition work together to realize our community contracts.

Making a better community. Together.
